Sunday Morning Puja

flower detailEach Sunday morning there is a mediative puja.  This is an actual practice of mental transformation and includes chanted prayers which prepair the mind for silent meditation practice.  These practices increase our spiritual energy and develop virtuous minds and intentions, and give us blessings.

The Pujas typically practiced on Sunday are:

Je Tsongkapa

Dorje ShugdenHeart Jewel: A central practice which includes a Lam Rim Meditation

Offerings to the Spiritual Guide:  A longer practice which is related to Highest Yoga Tantra, and develops our relationship to our spiritual guide and also takes us through all the stages of spiritual development.  This pratice includes making Tsog offerings, or offerings of food and beautiful objects which are then shared afterwards.  Bring something to put on the table.

Wishfulfilling Jewel: A practice similar to Heart Jewel, which develops our connection to our spiritual guide and Dharma Protector, without the Lam Rim Meditation.

Offering GoddessThese pujas are free.  Anyone is welcome to attend.  There is printed material to follow along with, and the prayers are primarily in English, with some Sanskrit.
